The Hand Colouring Studio
| After a drying period of approximately 3 days, the print is transferred to the hand coloring department, where a team of highly skilled hand colorists, working from the artist's master sample, finish each piece with the bold colors, foils and pastels that have since become the hallmark of Simon Bull's celebratory art. |

With the artist's master sample as a guide, colored inks are washed onto the white areas of the print. |
When these are dry, invisible gold size is applied to the areas that will later hold gold or silver foil. |
This is a delicate process as the size is more or less invisible, except when held against the light.
