As I was painting this basketball, I had the strange sensation of wanting to pick it up every time I walked past the unfinished canvas, I almost started bouncing the canvas a couple of times; this is the kind of realism I was striving for in ‘Anticipation’, to create a painting that somehow crossed the line between imagination and reality, a painting that made you want to go out and play the game. -About Artist Simon Bull
