LET IT RAIN!
I made this painting during my recent bout with cancer. I was diagnosed in early April 2005 and rushed into the hospital for surgery. My surgical team did a truly inspired job and my oncologists said that chemo and radiation therapy would not be required at this time. So now just over a month later I am doing well and looking forward to many healthy years ahead.
Once news ‘got out’ about my illness, literally thousands of supporters, friends and family rallied to my support, it was a humbling experience to be surrounded by so much love and prayer and God certainly did answer the prayers.
I don’t really know what ‘Let it Rain’ means other than the umbrellas offer a protective covering from the heat of the sun or the storms of life. Every time we utter a prayer for someone, we shelter them, and surround them with healing love. This was my experience and for this I am more than grateful.
